Start a new tradition or create some excitement with this stuffed burger pie recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 Cardinal STUFFED Bacon Cheddar Beef Burger – frozen
- 10 x 15” Puff Pastry Sheet – thawed
- Egg wash
Cooking Directions
- Preheat oven 375 F
- Place puff pastry on a clean flat suface, lightly dusted with flour
- Cut 8” round base and 6.5” round top
- Place base on a parchment lined baking tray
- Brush edges with egg wash
- Place Cardinal Cheese & Bacon Stuffed Burger in the center of the puff pastry round
- Place the 6.5″ round top on top of burger patty
- Begin to fold outer edge inwards and continue around the burger edge until all the edges are folded in
- Eggwash the entire surface and in the center mark an X with a knife or fork
- Place into fridge to let rest for 15 mins
- Eggwash one more time before placing in preheated oven
- Bake for 40-45 mins or until dark golden brown
- Let cool 10-15 mins before serving
